Our eco designers are working on a earth friendly “hubcap” with slip ring construction to travel multiple currents thru the car or directly to a motor attached to the wheel hub. (this has a motor attached directly to the solar cell underside, and direct to the wheel.) With “tilting technologies” both the car and wheel are able to seek greater sunlight. pp Our convex cell array will gain the higher angle of incidence to the sun’s light- and they flip up and out, for further volts when vehicles are parked.
Cars can run off of renewable energy and here’s the proof.

LuminAID is actually an inflatable plastic pillow with a thin solar panel and two coin cell batteries. The package can be inflated and deflated down to where it can be packed completely flat. Photovoltaic film is laminated to polyethelenevinyl acetate plastic. The LuminAID device inflates to produce a quality of light similar to a lantern. A white-dot pattern on the device diffuses the light.

Solar powered low voltage LED path lights

Testing out a Home Depot “Malibu” Pro-LED and a Lowe’s “Allen+Roth” LED path light in my side yard.

Normally, these fixtures would powered by a 12 volt transformer-timer like any other low voltage or “Malibu” landscape lights but I’m operating them with a solar-charged 12 volt gel battery through a Morningstar SunLight controller. They draw very little current (the Pro-LED fixture uses 1.3 watts and the Allen+Roth uses about 2 watts) but put out as much light as a 7 watt wedge base bulb. A lot brighter than the typical solar garden light which usually give out a very faint, blue glow.
